It is important to choose a good hydraulic hinge

    A lot of people know that hydraulic hinge is important for opening and closing. So the inner spring and magnetism , rivet fittings are very important.  The inner spring and magnetism need to do some heat treating. If they are too hard, is easy to break, if too soft, the force to close the door is not enough. If use a cheap spring will cause bad closing force or door plate drop off.

    When buy a common hinge, you can open and close the hinge to hear the sound when closing, if the sound is vt, means good, if the sound is low, means the spring force is not enough and the thickness is not enough. See the hinge cup is tight or not? If not tight, means the rivet is not good, easy to get off. To open and close the hinge many times to see if there is an obvious impression Trail, if it is obvious, means the cup thickness is not enough, easy to break.

Look at the surface of the hydraulic hinge, if it is flat, if not, means this hinge is made of waste material, this kind of hinge looks ugly and make your furniture no class. Finish: most of hinge is Nickel plated, but some hinge only with very thin nickel, good hinge is with brass plated under the nickel plating, if it is allowed, you can use a knife to scratch the hinge, if you can see yellow under the nickel, means this hinge is good. Or you can see the cup, if the cup is with same color as other parts, means plating is good, if with a little black water spots or steel color, means this hinge finish is not good.

 Some hydraulic hinge is with two screw, they are adjustable, up down and front back. Some new hinge is with right and left adjustable screw, this is we call 3D adjustable hinge. To test the adjustable function, you need use and screw driver to adjust all the three screw, and then take the Screw out, if the thread on the screw arm is good and can adjust well.
